Maple Tree Montessori Academy is pleased to offer an outstanding parenting class “Capable Kids” presented by the Women’s Resource Center of Livingston County. This class will be presented in 3 parts…4/19 – Brain Development, 4/26 – Attachment, and 5/3 – Self Regulation. All will be held at MTMA from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. These important segments will provide parents with a foundational understanding of how a child’s brain develops, and how to best help a child develop healthy attachment and self regulation. Maria Montessori recognized the importance of respecting and facilitating the child’s natural development in these area’s and we are happy to continue offering parents new research and educational opportunities to improve their own understanding of the inner world of a child.
