School Calendar 2026 – 2027
Important school dates, holidays, conferences, orientation days, professional development days and school breaks.
August 2026
- August 17: Professional Development Day. No classes or child care.
- August 17 at 6:30 PM: Parent Orientation via Zoom. No classes or child care.
- August 18, 4:00–6:00 PM: Open House. No classes or child care.
- August 20: GSRP Family Visits. No classes or child care.
- August 21: Teacher Preparation or GSRP Visits. No classes or child care.
- August 24: Teacher Preparation or GSRP Visits. No classes or child care.
- August 25: First Day of Classes. Primary orientation sessions are from 8:30–10:30 AM. Elementary has a half day. No child care.
- August 26–28: Normal school days for Elementary and Toddler students. Primary orientation continues. No child care.
- August 31: Full schedules resume for all students, including before- and after-school care.
September 2026
- September 4–7: Labor Day Weekend. No school or child care.
- September 8: School resumes.
October 2026
- October 30: Parent Conferences. No school. Daycare is available by sign-up.
November 2026
- November 13: Data Review Day. Full schedule for children.
- November 25–29: Thanksgiving Break. No school or child care.
December 2026
- December 19–31: Christmas Break. No school. Daycare may be available by sign-up.
January 2027
- January 1–3: Christmas Break continues. No school. Daycare may be available by sign-up.
- January 4: School resumes.
- January 18: Professional Development Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. No school or child care.
February 2027
- February 12: Parent Conferences. No school. Daycare is available by sign-up.
- February 15: GSRP Home Visits. No school. Daycare is available by sign-up.
- February 16–21: Winter Break. No school. Daycare is available by sign-up.
- February 22: School resumes.
March 2027
- March 5: Data Review Day. Full schedule for children.
- March 26–31: Spring Break. No school. Daycare is available by sign-up.
April 2027
- April 1–4: Spring Break continues. No school. Daycare is available by sign-up.
- April 5: School resumes.
May 2027
- May 14: Data Review Day. Full schedule for children.
- May 24: Memorial Day. No school or child care.
- May 27: Family Picnic and Kindergarten Graduation.
- May 28: Last Day of School. Full schedule for children.
- May 31: Professional Development Day.
Additional Calendar Information
Parent education nights, observation days and other special events may be added throughout the school year. Families will be notified through regular school communications.
Special child care may be available on selected days off or during holiday breaks. Availability requires advance sign-up.
Snow days and emergency closings will be announced on WHMI 93.5 FM and through the following channels:
